With many responses to review, filters help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Filter by status, quality, panel, date, and more.

Available Filters

Status Filter

Filter by response status:
  • All: Show everything
  • Completed: Finished responses only
  • In Progress: Currently being taken
  • Screened Out: Did not qualify
  • Abandoned: Started but didn’t finish
  • Test: Preview/test responses

Quality Filter

Filter by quality score:
  • All qualities: No quality filter
  • High quality: Best quality responses
  • Medium quality: Acceptable quality
  • Low quality: Responses with quality concerns

Panel Filter

If you have multiple panels:
  • All panels: Show responses from all panels
  • Specific panel: Select a single panel to view

Date Range

Filter by when responses were collected:
  • All time: No date restriction
  • Today: Responses from today
  • Last 7 days: Past week
  • Custom range: Specify start and end dates

Using Filters

Go to Responses Tab

Open your study and navigate to Responses.

Locate Filter Options

Find the filter controls (typically above the response table).

Select Filters

Choose your filter criteria from the available options.

Apply Filters

The table updates to show only matching responses.

Clear Filters

Remove filters to see all responses again.

Sorting Options

In addition to filtering, you can sort the response table:

Common Filter Combinations

For Analysis Preparation

Filter for usable data:
  • Status: Completed
  • Quality: High or Medium
  • Panel: Specific panel (if analyzing one segment)

For Quality Review

Find responses needing review:
  • Status: Completed
  • Quality: Low

For Troubleshooting

Find incomplete responses:
  • Status: Abandoned or In Progress

For Panel Comparison

Review specific segments:
  • Status: Completed
  • Panel: [Select panel]

Search Functionality

Search by ID

Find a specific response by:
  • Participant ID
  • Response ID
  • External ID (if provided)

Search Process

  1. Locate the search box
  2. Enter the ID or identifier
  3. Press Enter or click Search
  4. Matching response(s) display

Working with Filtered Data

Count Verification

When filtered, check:
  • How many responses match your criteria
  • What percentage of total this represents
  • Whether you have enough for analysis

Export Filtered Data

You can export only filtered responses:
  1. Apply your desired filters
  2. Click Export
  3. Choose to export filtered or all
  4. Download your file

Bulk Actions on Filtered Results

With filters applied:
  • Select multiple responses
  • Apply actions to selection
  • Actions apply only to visible (filtered) responses

Filter Best Practices

Start broad, then narrow. Begin with fewer filters and add more to find what you need.
Check your counts. After filtering, verify the response count makes sense.
Document your filters. When exporting for analysis, note which filters you applied.
Reset before new searches. Clear filters before applying new ones to avoid confusion.

Common Filtering Scenarios

  1. Set Status filter to “Completed”
  2. Set Panel filter to “Panel A”
  3. View results
  1. Set Status filter to “Completed”
  2. Set Quality filter to “Low”
  3. Review each response individually
  1. Set Date Range to “Last 7 days”
  2. Optionally add Status: “Completed”
  3. Review recent responses
  1. Clear all filters
  2. Use search to enter participant ID
  3. View the matching response

Saving Filter Views

If available, you may be able to:
  • Save commonly used filter combinations
  • Create named views for quick access
  • Share filter configurations with team members

Column Visibility

Customize which columns appear in your filtered view:
  • Show/hide columns based on your needs
  • Reorder columns for easier review
  • Focus on the data most relevant to your task

Troubleshooting Filters

No Results Showing

If filters return no results:
  • Check if filters are too restrictive
  • Verify data exists for your criteria
  • Try removing filters one at a time

Wrong Results

If results don’t match expectations:
  • Verify all active filters
  • Clear filters and start fresh
  • Check for conflicting criteria

Filters Not Working

If filters seem unresponsive:
  • Refresh the page
  • Clear browser cache
  • Try a different browser
