Your profile settings control your personal information and preferences in Deepfield. Keep your account up to date and customize your experience.

Accessing Profile Settings

Click Account

Find the Account option in the navigation or your profile menu.

View Profile

Your profile settings page displays your current information.

Edit Settings

Click Edit or modify fields directly to make changes.

Save Changes

Save your changes to update your profile.

Profile Information

Personal Details

Updating Your Name

  1. Navigate to Profile Settings
  2. Edit the First Name or Last Name field
  3. Click Save
Your name appears in:
  • Account displays
  • Study ownership
  • Team member lists

Email Address

Your email is used for:
  • Logging in to Deepfield
  • Account notifications
  • Password reset
Changing your email may require verification. Follow any confirmation steps sent to your new address.

Organization Information

If you belong to an organization:

Organization Name

The company or team you’re associated with.

Organization Role

Your role within the organization (if applicable):
  • Admin
  • Member
  • Other roles as defined

Security Settings

Password

Manage your password security: Changing Your Password:
  1. Go to Profile Settings
  2. Find Password or Security section
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password
  5. Confirm new password
  6. Save changes
Password Requirements:
  • Minimum length (typically 8+ characters)
  • Mix of letters, numbers, and symbols recommended
  • Avoid common or easily guessed passwords

Password Reset

If you forget your password:
  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click “Forgot Password”
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check email for reset link
  5. Follow link to create new password

Account Preferences

Display Settings

If available:
  • Interface theme (light/dark)
  • Date format preferences
  • Number format preferences

Notification Settings

Control what notifications you receive:
  • Email notifications
  • Study alerts
  • System updates

Account Information

Account Status

View your account status:
  • Active
  • Trial
  • Subscription type (if applicable)

Credits

If your platform uses credits:
  • Credits remaining
  • Total credits allocated
  • Credit usage history

  • When you joined

Managing Your Account

Keeping Information Current

Keep your email updated. Important notifications go to your email. An outdated address means missed messages.
Use your real name. It helps teammates identify you in shared studies.

Account Security

Use a strong password. Protect your research data with a secure password.
Don’t share credentials. Each team member should have their own account.

Common Questions

Go to Profile Settings, edit the email field, and follow any verification steps. You may need to confirm the new address.
Generally, you should have one account per person. Contact support if you need special arrangements.
Contact support for account deletion requests. Note that this may affect access to your studies.
Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. A reset link will be sent to your email.
